The Mighty "Mount Zion" - Becomes Firmly Established

The deep connection between Mount Zion and the temple comes from the fact that the temple was historically located on Mount Zion. That much is obvious. But more is at play here than mere geo-locations. Only Evidence Profiles will tell what is going on. Let's start with identifying the temple!

Tear down this Temple & ... I Will Raise it Up

Here is the full text

Jesus replied to them: "Tear down this temple, and in three days I will raise it up." The Jews then said: "This temple was built in years, and will you raise it up in three days?"
Joh 2:19,20

What did Jesus mean? The holy spirit gives us a clue in the book of Hebrews. Jesus, you will remember is the master worker - he is all about Evidence Profiles! When he speaks in such a manner, he is not being poetic. It is not hyperbole. There is a deeper, purely fundamental meaning. Always! What is that meaning in this case? We go to Hebrews:

For every high priest is appointed to offer both gifts and sacrifices; so it was necessary for this one also to have something to offer. If he were on earth, he would not be a priest, since there are already men who offer the gifts according to the Law. These men are offering sacred service in a typical representation and a shadow of the heavenly things; just as Moses, when about to construct the tent, was given the divine command: For He says: "See that you make all things after their pattern that was shown to you in the mountain."
Heb 8:3-5

The first thing this teaches us, is the truth about prototype and facsimile. The earthly temples always had to follow a pattern. What was the pattern of? "The Heavenly things!" So the original is not the Earthly, but the spiritual. Further scriptures in Hebrews clarify the matter more:

After these things were constructed this way, the priests enter the first tent compartment regularly to perform the sacred services; but the high priest enters alone into the second compartment once a year, not without blood, which he offers for himself and for the sins that the people committed in ignorance. Thus the holy spirit makes it clear that the way into the holy place had not yet been revealed while the first tent was standing. This tent is an illustration for the present time, and according to this arrangement, both gifts and sacrifices are offered. However, these are not able to make the conscience of the man doing sacred service perfect. They have to do only with foods and drinks and various ceremonial washings. They were legal requirements concerning the body and were imposed until the appointed time to set things straight. However, when Christ came as a high priest of the good things that have already taken place, he passed through the greater and more perfect tent not made with hands, that is, not of this creation. He entered into the holy place, not with the blood of goats and of young bulls, but with his own blood, once for all time, and obtained an everlasting deliverance for us
Heb 9:6-12

What interests us is not so much the "tent" compartments on Earth, but how they relate to the "greater and more perfect tent not made with hands." (Heb 9:11). Again, we are getting clues about the original tent. We have to narrow down our search, for though we know that the original tent is heavenly, we also know it cannot represent all of Heaven! That is because Jehovah is not an ether - he doesn't exist everywhere at once. Instead he is a "person." (Ac 3:19 NWT w/References) So the entity that was represented by the most holy on Earth is just wherever Jehovah is, in Heaven. He helps us narrow it down through a detail in the construction of the physical tabernacle:

"You will make a cover of pure gold, two and a half cubits long and a cubit and a half wide. You are to make two cherubs of gold; you will make them of hammered work on the two ends of the cover. Make the cherubs on the two ends, one cherub on each end of the cover. The cherubs are to spread out their two wings upward, overshadowing the cover with their wings, and they will face each other. The faces of the cherubs will be turned toward the cover. You will put the cover on the Ark, and in the Ark you will place the Testimony that I will give you. I will present myself to you there and speak with you from above the cover. From between the two cherubs that are on the ark of the Testimony, I will make known to you all that I will command you for the Israelites
Ex 25:17-22

Our previous scripture already showed us that there were two compartments in the "tent." What would happen if you moved the furniture of the most holy to the holy? (Say with Jehovah's permission.) The first tent compartment would immediately become the most holy. Wherever the ark of the covenant with the two cherubs is - that's the most holy! Why? Because that's where Jehovah's presence is. You don't even need buildings or tents, i.e., shelter. When Moses approached the "thornbush that was on fire, and yet ... was not consumed," why was he warned not to come any closer?:

So Moses said: "I will go over to inspect this unusual sight to see why the thornbush does not burn up." When Jehovah saw that he went over to look, God called to him out of the thornbush and said: "Moses! Moses!" to which he said: "Here I am." Then he said: "Do not come any nearer. Remove your sandals from your feet, because the place where you are standing is holy ground."
Ex 3:3-5

Jacob wrestled with an angel all night. No warnings. What's the difference? Jehovah was acting through this angel in the nested spirits way we have already covered. That is why the scripture says "God called to him out of the thornbush." Jehovah's spirit was in the angel. It is this scenario that the Bible is referring to when it speaks of God's announcement being, "as transmitted by angels." This only happens when Jehovah's spirit is in that creature. As soon as that is the case, the immediate vicinity is "holy ground." What made Mount Sinai holy? (Ex 3:1,2) Because Jehovah had once been on it. (Ne 9:13) Mount Horeb and Mount Sinai are the same mountain! (Ex 3:11,12) The same is true of Mount Zion - due to the temple and thus the most holy being built on it. No other being has the capacity to make things holy, just with their presence! Thus what makes something holy is not what it is or where it is - but the answer to the question: "Is Jehovah's spirit present there?"

Now, did Jesus Christ have Jehovah's spirit? Of course he did - that's what turned him from Jesus, to Jesus the Christ. (Joh 1:33,34) But how does that connect "holy ground" with "temple?" A temple is just an enclosed holy ground. In other words at the thornbush on Mount Sinai/Horeb, the mountain was holy ground (open space); and the angel was a temple! Its that simple. That is why Jesus could call himself a temple. And that is why each member of Jehovah's anointed holy ones numbering 144 000 in total - is a "temple!":

Do you not know that you yourselves are God's temple and that the spirit of God dwells in you? If anyone destroys the temple of God, God will destroy him; for the temple of God is holy, and you are that temple
1Co 3:16,17

Now, in the same way that your body's cells are individually alive, while also being alive collectively: so it is with the temple. Each of us is a temple individually, but we are also referred to collectively - as a temple. The Apostle Peter helps us with the maths:

As you come to him, a living stone rejected by men but chosen, precious to God, you yourselves as living stones are being built up into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, in order to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. For it says in Scripture: "Look! I am laying in Zion a chosen stone, a precious foundation cornerstone, and no one exercising faith in it will ever be disappointed."
2Pe 2:4-6

This - is a most pivotal scripture! What do we learn? First we see the individual and collective dynamics at play: "living stone" versus "being built up into a spiritual house" - both are temples! But more importantly we see the full import of Jesus being a living stone. He is not just any stone - he is a living "cornerstone!" Did you catch where Jehovah laid this foundational cornerstone? Take note. We'll get to it soon enough. For now, we focus on the fact that Jehovah is building something. So far we can glean that it is "a spiritual house." That is meant in two ways: one - it is a temple; two - it is not of this creation. That is, it is being built by God. For it is God who is laying the stones. (1Pe 2:6)

Further, we know that this "building" is on Mount Zion. But Peter here leaves out an important original detail. Let's go to the source material:

Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord Jehovah says: "Here I am laying as a foundation in Zion a tested stone, the precious cornerstone of a sure foundation. No one exercising faith will panic
Isa 28:16

In his explanation of the prophecy Peter was focusing on how Christ is precious to believers, while he was rejected by unbelievers. So he left out the "sure foundation" found in the original scripture, in order to bring focus to the "precious foundation." This was done for continuity in making his point. So, it is good that we have both accounts. However, we want to focus on the fact that the foundation is "sure." What does that mean? It means it is unshakeable. That's an important detail. As I explained to you previously, building techniques of the ancient world had a chief cornerstone, and many other stones on that level of the house - all of which constituted the foundation! And so it is with the temple: having a "chief" foundational cornerstone, means it has other foundation stones:

So you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but you are fellow citizens of the holy ones and are members of the household of God, and you have been built up on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, while Christ Jesus himself is the foundation cornerstone. In union with him the whole building, being harmoniously joined together, is growing into a holy temple for Jehovah. In union with him you too are being built up together into a place for God to inhabit by spirit
Eph 2:19-22

We now have a firm Evidence Profile. The building that is being put up by God is definitely a "temple." But another scripture merges that Evidence Profile, with another:

And God has assigned the respective ones in the congregation: first, apostles; second, prophets; third, teachers; then powerful works; then gifts of healings; helpful services; abilities to direct; different tongues
1Co 12:28

Thus we come to understand that the "congregation" is the temple. The assigning of the congregation is the blueprint - the plans - for this masterful temple Jehovah is constructing! A further scripture helps us understand why Jehovah is building this temple:

And what agreement does God's temple have with idols? For we are a temple of a living God; just as God said: "I will reside among them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people."
2Co 6:16

The origin of this desire from Jehovah was communicated to the Israelites after they left Egypt. That desire was realized through the building of the Tabernacle. But as we have learned that arrangement was a "shadow" of the reality that belongs to the Christ. The Heavenly things are the originals after which the Earthly things were patterned. (Heb 9:24) We have now established that the building God is constructing is a temple - and we now also know it's purpose. But let us drill down to a key detail: the sure foundation.

The "Sure Foundation"

Just how sure is this foundation - precisely?

For it says in Scripture: “Look! I am laying in Zion a chosen stone, a precious foundation cornerstone, and no one exercising faith in it will ever be disappointed."
2Pe 2:6

That's one side of the coin: it offers total security to the those who are "exercising faith" in it. What's the other side of the coin?

Lastly he sent his son to them, saying, ‘They will respect my son.' On seeing the son, the cultivators said among themselves, 'This is the heir. Come, let us kill him and get his inheritance!' So they took him and threw him out of the vineyard and killed him. Therefore, when the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those cultivators?" They said to him: "Because they are evil, he will bring a terrible destruction on them and will lease the vineyard to other cultivators, who will give him the fruits when they become due." Jesus said to them: "Did you never read in the Scriptures, 'The stone that the builders rejected, this has become the chief cornerstone. This has come from Jehovah, and it is marvelous in our eyes?' This is why I say to you, the Kingdom of God will be taken from you and be given to a nation producing its fruits. Also, the person falling on this stone will be shattered. As for anyone on whom it falls, it will crush him." When the chief priests and the Pharisees heard his illustrations, they knew that he was speaking about them
Mt 21:37-45

Just as definitively as it secures those those who exercise faith in it - it crushes and shatters "anyone" in opposition to it. In both its ability to ensure security (Joh 3:16) and its power to obliterate out of existence (2Th 1:7-9), it is unequalled. Wow! That is power! (Mt 28:18; Php 3:21) Since Matthew 28 spoke of "all authority," and Philippians 3 spoke of "subjecting all things," it means the sureness of this foundation is unique. So unique that it forms an unmissable Evidence Profile. We can use this profile in two ways: firstly, to find out any other names by which this building with sure foundations is known; and secondly, to achieve unification with any other entities that we might have thought were distinct realities - but which, an identical Evidence Profile will prove, are the same! Let's start with the easy one: what other names is this "sure foundation" Evidence Profile known by?:

Also Known As ...
By faith Abraham, when he was called, obeyed in going out into a place he was destined to receive as an inheritance; and he went out, although not knowing where he was going. By faith he resided as an alien in the land of the promise as in a foreign land, and dwelt in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the very same promise. For he was awaiting the city having real foundations, the builder and maker of which [city] is God
Heb 11:8-10

At the end of this passage we see two factors of the unique Evidence Profile coming to the fore. This city has "real foundations." And its "builder is God." But can it be true that this building is also a city? Indeed:

I saw also the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God and prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: "Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them
Re 21:2-4

Here we get powerful confirmation that the "household of God" as Ephesians 2:19 puts it is also a city! This city is called the "tent of God" i.e. a temple. We know God only has one temple structure and he uses it to reside with mankind. (2Co 6:16) That is confirmed by the fact that it is "holy" - meaning God's spirit is present there. But there is more, we also have the architectural plans for New Jerusalem - and they match the "assigning" by God - for the congregation. (1Co 12:28) We already covered the blueprint for the congregation. Let's see the one for the city - "New Jerusalem.":

One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls that were full of the seven last plagues came and said to me: "Come, and I will show you the bride, the Lamb's wife." So he carried me away in the power of the spirit to a great and lofty mountain, and he showed me the holy city Jerusalem coming down out of heaven from God.... The wall of the city also had foundation stones, and on them were the 12 names of the 12 apostles of the Lamb
Re 21:9,10,14

The foundation stones are also the apostles, matching our Evidence Profile. But there is actually no need for matching because verse 9 starts by telling us that this city is the "Lamb's wife." Christ only has one wife - per the standard from Genesis that Christ re-instituted during his ministry: and she is the congregation. (Mt 19:3-11; Eph 5:22-27)

So the temple is a congregation; a building; and a city. Paul also describes this building as the "field under cultivation." (1Co 3:9) This harkens back to Christ's statements in Matthew 21:37-45 (a few scriptures back). There he likened the Messianic Kingdom, made up of him and his 144 000 co-rulers, as a "vineyard" that produces "fruits when they become due." In other words that performs the "good works" which Jehovah has "determined in advance for us to walk in them." (Eph 2:10)

Shares Evidence Profiles With ...

Understanding Evidence Profiles makes our job so much easier. When I was still trying define what an Evidence Profile was for you, I had to build each Evidence Profile up, convincing evidence by convincing evidence. Only then could I superimpose them on each other and show how they traced out the same picture in every detail. But now that we have been dealing with them for so long, I trust you have a strong grasp of how they work. Having reached that point: we now just look for an unmistakable Evidence Profile and know intuitively (since the evidence is in), that every other entity with that Evidence Profile is the same as our source entity - no matter how different they may appear on the surface! That is why the "sure foundation" Evidence Profile is so critically important! God's temple, then, shares an Evidence Profile with - and is thus the same thing as:

... God's Kingdom
At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised: "Yet once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heaven." Now the expression "yet once more" indicates the removal of the things that are shaken, things that have been made, in order that the things not shaken may remain. Therefore, seeing that we are to receive a Kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us continue to receive undeserved kindness, through which we may acceptably offer God sacred service with godly fear and awe
Heb 12:26-28

It is clear why. No need to elaborate. We move on.

... The Congregation
Also, I say to you, You are Peter, and on this rock-mass I will build my congregation, and the gates of Ha'des will not overpower it
Mt 16:18

We already know that the congregation is the temple - but this is an additional way to prove it from another perspective. But most important for us and our discussion - and the reason we are doing this exercise is the next entity ...

... Mount Zion
Those who trust in Jehovah are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever
Ps 125:1

Mount Zion, the temple and the Congregation, that is, Christ and his holy ones - are all one and the same thing! It is for that reason, that on this page which has the title The Mighty Mount Zion we have so far only discussed the temple: they are one and same thing. That, in turn, means, all the dynamics that we listed on the last page, as being functions of Mount Zion are actually functions of the Congregation! That is why the third administration of Christ - the one that administers Jehovah's retributive justice to the world - is an administration for gathering the holy ones together!

For an administration at the full limit of the appointed times, to gather all things together in the Christ, the things in the heavens and the things on the earth. Yes, in him
Eph 1:10

Since, the last part of Satan's system is reserved by Jehovah, for nothing but judgement after judgement from him (that is what Revelation is about, hence it's alternate name is the Apocalypse - in other words it is a book about revelations of an apocalypse), and all such judgements are a function of the Congregation: this period is also a time for the Congregation to rise!:

"Arise, O woman, shed light, for your light has come. The glory of Jehovah shines on you. For look! darkness will cover the earth and thick gloom the nations; but on you Jehovah will shine, and on you his glory will be seen. Nations will go to your light and kings to your shining splendor. Raise your eyes and look all around you! They have all been assembled; they are coming to you. From far away your sons keep coming, and your daughters being supported on the hip. At that time you will see and become radiant, and your heart will throb and overflow, because the wealth of the sea will be directed to you; the resources of the nations will come to you
Isa 60:1-5

That is why I said the scripture that combined five aspects was critical to understand. I re-quote it below:

I will make the one who was limping a remnant, and the one far removed a mighty nation; and Jehovah will rule as king over them in Mount Zion, from now on and forever
Mic 4:7

Mount Zion Being the Congregation is so Important that ...

We must build up the Evidence Profile of this connection step-by-step. I know you believe. But to be able to explain it to someone else, you need to know how to build its Evidence Profile - from the ground up! It's all about Evidence Profiles. Ask Jesus. I don't mean that jokingly. Jehovah and Jesus are not subject matters for jokes. I mean it literally. He is the "Amen." That means he is the instrument that turns all of Jehovah's decrees into reality - or Evidence Profiles! Jesus is special!

For no matter how many the promises of God are, they have become "yes" by means of him. Therefore, also through him is the "Amen" said to God, which brings him glory....
2Co 1:20

The Evidence Profile is so straightforward, you will giggle when you first understand it - or perhaps cry. It starts with a remarkable prophecy about Mount Zion - one that establishes an Evidence Profile against which we will compare everything that comes thereafter:

In this mountain Jehovah of armies will make for all the peoples a banquet of rich dishes, a banquet of fine wine, of rich dishes filled with marrow, of fine, filtered wine. In this mountain he will do away with the shroud that is enveloping all the peoples and the covering that is woven over all the nations. He will swallow up* death forever and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces. The reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth, for Jehovah himself has spoken it
Isa 25:6-8a

Finding the identity of this "mountain" is straightforward. Death being "swallowed up forever" is an event which is most unique in all of existence: for it only happens once. Not after. Not before. Thus, we don't just have a narrow range of possibilities - we have only one! How elegant, simple and straightforward is that? There are different ways it is described, but the common thread that runs through them all, is - death is "done away with." That phrase "done away with," is the footnote of the term "swallow up." So, that, verse 8 could read: "He will do away with death forever." Let us look at the other synonymous expressions of death being "done away with" or "swallow[ed] up" forever:

From the power of the Grave I will redeem them; from death I will recover them. Where are your stings, O Death? Where is your destructiveness, O Grave?
Hos 13:14

In this case, the equivalent term is: "Where is your sting, O Death?" In other words, death has been rendered completely ineffective! You might think that this occurs when Christ resurrects the good and the bad:

Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.
Joh 5:28,29

But that would be incorrect. For the simple reason that this "resurrection" includes the variable of "judgement," to those who practice "vile" things - after they are resurrected. We know that these "vile" things are their works only after they have been resurrected ... "For the one who has died has been acquitted from his sin." That's the double jeopardy rule in law where you can't be tried twice for the same crime, much less punished twice! All of Jehovah's "ways are justice." (De 32:4) He would never conduct himself in that way. A resurrection of life and judgement, that is, death, for the resurrected who, now having knowledge - still fail to love and obey Jehovah! That outcome serves the exact same purpose as the current third administration of Christ - The Life, does now, for those who live at the end of days, the end of this current system of things. Jehovah does not judge people in the absence of them having knowledge: hence, the "convincing evidence" from "the helper" at John 16:8-11! In this way, everyone who has ever lived, will get a chance, to choose for themselves - whether they want life of death. This is what judgement is about. Informed sowing and reaping.

Thus, what John 8 is referring to is the fact that, since, humans will always have free will, they will always have the possibility of turning against Jehovah, just as Satan, and later, the demons did - even though they had faithfully lived with and worshipped Jehovah for thousands of years: all through the creative days, which we know were each at least several thousands years in length. The result is a negative judgement of death, even though they already had everlasting life - as eternal Inzintian creatures. (1Ti 3:6; Re 20:10) So death can never be "done away with" in that sense - since 'free ,' will always exist on Earth - and among Jehovah's faithful angels. The Bible tells us plainly, that even in God's new world, after the new Heavens and new Earth have been established and implemented, anyone who sins will die - even if they are a hundred years old:

So exult and be joyful forever in what I am creating. For look! I am creating Jerusalem a cause for joy and her people a cause for exultation. And I will rejoice in Jerusalem and exult in my people; no more will there be heard in her the sound of weeping or a cry of distress." "No more will there be an infant from that place who lives but a few days, nor an old man who fails to live out his days. for anyone who dies at a hundred will be considered a mere boy, and the sinner will be cursed, even though he is a hundred years of age
Isa 65:18-20

No. Hosea 13:14 has a more fundamental meaning. We dig deeper. At 2 Timothy 1:10, we find a matching Evidence Profile:

But now it has been made clearly evident through the manifestation of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who has abolished death and has shed light on life and incorruption through the good news
2Ti 1:10

This scripture gives us so many clues. First it tells us that it has "been made clearly evident" - meaning we now have an Evidence Profile. Next we are told this clear evidence is through the manifestation of how Christ Jesus "abolished death." But more important than that was that his manifestation has shed light on "life and incorruption through the good news." So the good news about Jesus gives us all the details we need. The first one we want to consider is the detail of "incorruption." This incorruptibility explains why Christ can never die again. It might seem that "eternal life" and "immortal life" are one and the same thing - but that is not true. Beings who are immortal live forever; but beings who live forever are not immortal. They can die! Such as is true in the case of Satan, his demons - and Adam and Woman! All the angels have everlasting life - but they are not immortal. As is proven by none other than Jesus, himself. (Ro 6:9) Had he been immortal in his pre-human existence, he could not have come to Earth to die for sinful mankind. The truth is Christ had everlasting life before he came to Earth to be a ransom - in exchange for many. Only after he was resurrected could he "shed light on life and incorruption," for then, he was "immortal" and we could, for the first time see the distinction between a mortal and an immortal creature. You cannot be immortal, unless you have incorruption. That is why the angels are not immortal: they are righteous and perfect beings; but, as Devil and his demons prove - they can be self-corrupted! (1Pe 3:19,20) That is what "has been made clearly evident through the manifestation of our Saviour, Christ Jesus!" What an Evidence Profile. Christ is special!

We also glean from the above scripture another synonym for the phrases: "Where is your sting, O death?" and "swallow up forever," and "done away with." To that list, we now add: "abolished death." All these phrases are equivalent. Now, we know that this clear evidence through Christ is about his death and resurrection. Can we find this Evidence Profile in another group of people? Is there any other group of people who are having the same experience as Jesus in death - and will soon share in a resurrection that is equivalent to his? If we can find them, we have found the Evidence Profile that identifies Mount Zion. Here's the Apostle Paul:

My aim is to know him and the power of his resurrection and to share in his sufferings, submitting myself to a death like his, to see if at all possible I may attain to the earlier resurrection from the dead
Php 3:10,11

Another verse, shows this is not wishful thinking. It is God's promise to his faithful chosen ones! God is love. And we appreciate the inestimable privilege of sharing in his incorruptible "divine nature" from the final trumpet - onward! (2Pe 1:4) Thus, those who are called to share in Christ's sufferings, will also share in his unique resurrection. (1Pe 2:21; 2Ti 2:12) The Apostle Paul, speaking under inspiration of Jehovah's holy spirit penned these words of promise to us who are called and chosen and faithful:

If we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we will certainly also be united with him in the likeness of his resurrection
Ro 6:5

So Paul wants to share in both aspects of the Evidence Profile, that Christ has "shed light on": death and a resurrection to incorruption. He explains in the last part of Philippians 3 that such an Evidence Profile leads to the "earlier resurrection from the dead." In the Bible, this is also called the "first resurrection." Now who partake in the "first resurrection?" Revelation 20:6 puts it all together for us:

Happy and holy is anyone having part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no authority, but they will be priests of God and of the Christ, and they will rule as kings with him for the 1,000 years
Re 20:6

For the first time then, we have a direct scripture that links Mount Zion, where death will be swallowed up forever, with the holy ones! For in both cases, they share the singular Evidence Profile of death being powerless - due to incorruption - over it/them! For it (Mt Zion), is them - and they, are it. In this case, that thought is realized through the term: "death has no authority." And that is true of them because they are "happy and holy," which of course means they have God's spirit - within them. The fact that this is a "first resurrection," means there is another one. So not everyone will share in it. But more precisely, the scripture tells us to whom this resurrection is limited - to those who "will rule as kings with" Christ. In other words, the 144 000 who are people whom Christ bought "for God" from the Earth. (Re 5:9,10)

But there is an even more direct link. One that shows the transition from corruption to "incorruption," and similarly shows the transition between the states of mortality and "immortality," which became manifest, when Christ was resurrected to Heaven. But more than that, it identifies what entity the prophecy of Mount Zion is fulfilled through! Let us read it:

Look! I tell you a sacred secret: We will not all fall asleep in death, but we will all be changed, in a moment, in the blink of an eye, during the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised up incorruptible, and we will be changed. For this which is corruptible must put on incorruption, and this which is mortal must put on immortality. But when this which is corruptible puts on incorruption and this which is mortal puts on immortality, then the saying that is written will take place: "Death is swallowed up forever." "Death, where is your victory? Death, where is your sting?" The sting producing death is sin, and the power for sin is the Law. But thanks to God, for he gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ!
1Co 15:51-57

A scriptural passage we are well familiar with, because we studied it in great detail earlier. I said earlier that, "Death being "swallowed up forever" is an event which is most unique in all of existence: for it only happens once. Not after. Not before. Thus, we don't just have a narrow range of possibilities - we have only one!" This verse identifies both when this moment occurs: during the last trumpet; and the briefness of its duration: "In a moment, in the blink of an eye, during the last trumpet." Did you notice that the book of first Corinthians - written by the holy spirit through the hands of Paul - was written after Christ had already been resurrected back to Heavenly life? Why, then, did the prophecy of death being "swallowed up" not apply at the time Christ was resurrected - or at least include Christ's resurrection?:

For we know that Christ, now that he has been raised up from the dead, dies no more; death is no longer master over him
Ro 6:9

Christ dying "no more" and death being "no longer master over him" fits the Evidence Profile of death being "swallowed up" on Mount Zion - does it not? How, then, can I say death being swallowed up, is an unique one time event that does not occur before or after the events of the "last trumpet." Because Christ's death does not fit the Evidence Profile of that prophecy! Let's read both the prophecy and its fulfillment to understand where Christ's Evidence Profile differs from mine and my fellow holy ones:

In this mountain Jehovah of armies will make for all the peoples a banquet of rich dishes, a banquet of fine wine, of rich dishes filled with marrow, of fine, filtered wine. In this mountain he will do away with the shroud that is enveloping all the peoples and the covering that is woven over all the nations. He will swallow up death forever and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces. The reproach of his people he will take away from all the earth, for Jehovah himself has spoken it
Isa 25:6-8a

And ...

The first thing we acknowledge is Christ's profile. In that step we see the difference:

For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tested in all respects as we have, but without sin
Heb 4:15

I love him too much. I was going to just mention the fact and then move. (Because we all should know that about Christ.) But I add more scriptures, to make the point abundantly clear: 'my grootman' is awesome!:

For it is fitting for us to have such a high priest who is loyal, innocent, undefiled, separated from the sinners, and exalted above the heavens
Heb 7:26

And ...

He committed no sin, nor was deception found in his mouth
1Pe 2:22

We continue ...

And he was given a burial place with the wicked, and with the rich in his death, although he had done no wrong
Isa 53:9

Thus, the Mighty Christ, does not meet the profile described in Isaiah, regarding Mount Zion. He was never under the "shroud that is enveloping all the peoples," which is what the prophecy is about. It is about removing this shroud. That is, inherited sin - and its price, death - as a result of Adam's foolishness. (Ge 2:16,17; 3:17-19; Ro 6:23; 5:12) That idiocy has nothing to do with our heroic Saviour Christ! Nothing. His death was not from failing to uphold a commandment of Jehovah's - like Adam. It was from following through on a commandment from Jehovah: out of his deep love for his Father, and God - despite the most intense pressure and anxiety ever experienced by a human, in the universe!:

This is why the Father loves me, because I surrender my soul, in order that I may receive it again. No man has taken it away from me, but I surrender it of my own initiative. I have authority to surrender it, and I have authority to receive it again. The commandment on this I received from my Father
Joh 10:17

His death was not the wages of sin! His life was surrendered - he surrendered it as a "ransom in exchange for many." (Mt 20:28) That thought is the fulfillment of ...

But it was Jehovah's will to crush him, and he let him become sick. If you will present his life as a guilt offering, he will see his offspring, he will prolong his days, and through him the delight of Jehovah will have success. Because of his anguish, he will see and be satisfied. By means of his knowledge the righteous one, my servant, will bring a righteous standing to many people, and their errors he will bear
Isa 53:10,11

This. Was. Not. Easy!:

Indeed, I have a baptism with which to be baptized, and how I am distressed until it is finished!
Lu 12:50

And ...

But Jesus said to them: "You do not know what you are asking for. Can you drink the cup that I am drinking or be baptized with the baptism with which I am being baptized?"
Mr 10:38

As the appointed time grew closer his distress only intensified! As you would expect:

But Jesus answered them: "The hour has come for the Son of man to be glorified. Most truly I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains just one grain; but if it dies, it then bears much fruit. Whoever is fond of his life destroys it, but whoever hates his life in this world will safeguard it for everlasting life. If anyone would minister to me, let him follow me, and where I am, there my minister will be also. If anyone would minister to me, the Father will honor him. Now I am troubled, and what should I say? Father, save me out of this hour. Nevertheless, this is why I have come to this hour
Joh 12:23-27

And continued intensifying - to the point of "death":

Then Jesus came with them to the spot called Geth·sem'a·ne, and he said to the disciples: "Sit down here while I go over there and pray." And taking along Peter and the two sons of Zeb'e·dee, he began to feel grieved and to be greatly troubled. Then he said to them: "I am deeply grieved, even to death. Stay here and keep on the watch with me." And going a little way forward, he fell facedown, praying: "My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass away from me. Yet, not as I will, but as you will." ... Again, a second time, he went off and prayed: "My Father, if it is not possible for this to pass away unless I drink it, let your will take place." And he came again and found them sleeping, for their eyes were heavy. So leaving them, he again went off and prayed for a third time, saying once more the same thing. Then he returned to the disciples and said to them: "At such a time as this, you are sleeping and resting! Look! The hour has drawn near for the Son of man to be betrayed into the hands of sinners. Get up, let us go. Look! My betrayer has drawn near." While he was still speaking, look! Judas, one of the Twelve, came and with him a large crowd with swords and clubs, sent from the chief priests and the elders of the people
Mt 26:36-39

And intensified, yet more:

On leaving, he went as was his custom to the Mount of Olives, and the disciples also followed him. On arriving at the place, he said to them: "Carry on prayer so that you do not enter into temptation." And he withdrew from them about a stone's throw away, and he bent his knees and began to pray, saying: "Father, if you want to, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, let, not my will, but yours take place." Then an angel from heaven appeared to him and strengthened him. But he was in such agony that he kept praying more earnestly; and his sweat became as drops of blood falling to the ground. When he rose from prayer and went to the disciples, he found them slumbering, exhausted from grief
Lu 22:39-45

If the grief his disciples felt had the effect of weariness on them - why did it have the opposite effect on him? It was no just because he was staying vigilant through prayer, and they were not, nor was it just due to the angel that "strengthened him." It was primarily because he is a mighty warrior of a man. It is not for no reason that he is known in holy scripture, as the conquering "Lion of ... Judah!" (Re 5:5) Remember, how Jehovah spoke of the stone that he was going to lay in Zion: it was a "tested stone." Jehovah had absolute confidence that "through him, the delight of Jehovah [would] have success." (Isa 53:10) And just as it was written. So it came to be! It is for this reason that he is the "Amen!" (2Co 1:20)

So Christ did not die from being corrupt. But Jehovah made sure the difference is even more fundamental, so that there can be no confusion of the Evidence Profiles we are now comparing - between Christ's death and the death aspect of the holy ones. After dying sinless - as a "loyal" one: Jehovah did not allow Christ's physical body to undergo decomposition - that is, biological corruption:

Men, brothers, it is permissible to speak with freeness of speech to you about the family head David, that he died and was buried, and his tomb is with us to this day. Because he was a prophet and knew that God had sworn to him with an oath that he would seat one of his offspring on his throne, he foresaw and spoke about the resurrection of the Christ, that neither was he forsaken in the Grave nor did his flesh see corruption. God resurrected this Jesus, and of this we are all witnesses
Ac 2:29-3

Now, the point of this scripture - within the narrow boundaries of our current discussion - ends with the words: "neither was he forsaken in the Grave nor did his flesh see corruption," in verse 31. Why, then, have I included verse 32? Because, anyone who knew and understood this prophecy could have worked out the "sign of Jonah."

Then as an answer to him, some of the scribes and the Pharisees said: "Teacher, we want to see a sign from you." In reply he said to them: "A wicked and adulterous generation keeps on seeking a sign, but no sign will be given it except the sign of Jo'nah the prophet. For just as Jo'nah was in the belly of the huge fish for three days and three nights, so the Son of man will be in the heart of the earth for three days and three nights
Mt 12:38-40

In other words you could have worked out, the outside parameter of how long Jehovah would leave him in the grave - before resurrecting him. Every Jewish person in that agricultural society, knew that by the fourth day - decomposition sets in!:

Jesus said: "Take the stone away." Martha, the sister of the deceased, said to him: "Lord, by now he must smell, for it has been four days."
Joh 11:39

Thus, the length of days he was left in the grave had to end by the third day. And because it was the same Evidence Profile suffered by Jonah (figuratively) - it is appropriate to call it the sign of Jonah. I apologize. In the flow of writing, I said earlier, I am going to elaborate due to my love for Christ. That's nice, but that's not the fundamental reason for the explanations. The whole point for the The Greatest Story Ever Told is as a "work of bearing witness concerning Jesus." (Re 12:17) That is the work that I, and all 20-odd thousand fellow holy ones alive at this time have. It is not out of the goodness of my heart that I do it: it is from a command from Jehovah! "Woe is me" - if I did not do it!:

If, now, I am declaring the good news, it is no reason for me to boast, for necessity is laid upon me. Really, woe is me if I did not declare the good news! If I perform this willingly, I have a reward; but if I do it against my will, all the same I have a stewardship entrusted to me
1Co 9:16,17

Of course, love does factor in: this whole current blog - and every subsequent episode are all love letters from me to my God and my big brother - in that order - as testimony to both of their individual and collective greatness! Love is how Jehovah motivates us:

A king's heart is like streams of water in Jehovah's hand. He directs it wherever He pleases
Pr 21:1

You do know I am a king - do you not? I and all my brothers! (Re 20:6; 22:3-5) So, Jehovah motivates us, not by duty - but by love, that compels us carry out Jehovah's commandments for us: his "good works, which [he] determined in advance for us to walk in them." (Eph 2:10) But, in this way Christ is our exemplar, for it is God's will that he be "first in all things!" (Col 1:18) As regards what we are talking about now, Proverbs 21:1 - here is the proof:

I leave you peace; I give you my peace. I do not give it to you the way that the world gives it. Do not let your hearts be troubled nor let them shrink out of fear. You heard that I said to you, 'I am going away and I am coming back to you.' If you loved me, you would rejoice that I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I am. ... But for the world to know that I love the Father, I am doing just as the Father has commanded me to do. Get up, let us go from here
Joh 14:27,28,31

That's why the precious cornerstone laid in Zion by God is a "tested stone," which results in a "sure foundation!" (Isa 28:16) His motivating love to do Jehovah's will is established and sure! After all, he is the 'Master Worker.' Back to our Evidence Profiles!

So, Christ does not meet the first half of the Mount Zion and first Corinthians Evidence Profile: being subject to the "envelopment that is enveloping over all the peoples," - or inherited sin and death! Nor, does he meet the precondition of corruptness, for those being resurrected to incorruption in the fulfillment of Isaiah:

In a moment, in the blink of an eye, during the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised up incorruptible, and we will be changed. For this which is corruptible must put on incorruption, and this which is mortal must put on immortality
1Co 15:52,54

He was never corrupted! Thus again, we zero in on an evidence based conclusion. Who are the only ones that this Evidence Profile fits? It is only the 144 000! They are the only beings in the whole universe, who will ever fit this profile! Christ doesn't fit it because while he was resurrected to "incorruption," he was never corrupt; the faithful lovers of God who die and will be resurrected to a "resurrection of life," don't qualify, because, although they were corrupted, their resurrection is not to "incorruption." They will never transform from being "mortal" and "put on immorality.": Their gift from God is "everlasting life" - not immortality. (Ro 6:23)

Let go of anger and abandon rage; do not become upset and turn to doing evil. For evil men will be done away with, but those hoping in Jehovah will possess the earth. Just a little while longer, and the wicked will be no more; you will look at where they were, and they will not be there. But the meek will possess the earth, and they will find exquisite delight in the abundance of peace. ... For Jehovah loves justice, and he will not abandon his loyal ones. They will always be guarded; but the descendants of the wicked will be done away with. The righteous will possess the earth, and they will live forever on it
Ps 37:8-11

Immortality is for those who will inherit "divine nature." (2Pe 1:4) Since God is immortal - partly due to being incorruptible! That's why Christ, and we - later - will inherit this template:

Now to the King of eternity, incorruptible, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen
1Ti 1:17

I trust all is clear. The prophecy of Mount Zion can only be fulfilled on Jehovah's 144 000 anointed ones!

Further Evidence Profiles that Mount Zion - Is the Congregation

There are many scriptures that make this point! But they are somewhat circumstantial, because you can't quite tell if Jehovah is referring to the holy ones as "being" Mount Zion, or as "being on" Mount Zion. I give two examples:

"This is what Jehovah says, 'I will return to Zion and reside in Jerusalem; and Jerusalem will be called the city of truth, and the mountain of Jehovah of armies, the holy mountain.'"
Zec 8:3

And ...

And everyone who calls on the name of Jehovah will be saved; for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be those who escape, just as Jehovah has said, the survivors whom Jehovah calls
Joe 2:32

Just to be clear the anointed are Mount Zion, we are Jerusalem, we are the "city," we are "new Jerusalem," we are the "field under cultivation, God's building." We are the "temple!" We are the "bride." We are Christ "body." There are so many ways in which we are described, but in all cases, all these labels are describing one thing: the holy ones of Jehovah. So, in the above scripture, Mount Zion represents the anointed, while "those who escape" represents those who follow their direction as "priests to ... God." (Re 5:10; Isa 56:6,7) In Zechariah 8, it clearly identifies that it is Jerusalem, which we know is the bride of Christ, that is referred to as the "mountain of Jehovah," or the "holy mountain." (Re 21:2) Also this city made of holy ones is called "Zion of the Holy One of Israel."

For any nation and any kingdom that will not serve you will perish, and the nations will be utterly devastated. To you the glory of Leb'a·non will come, the juniper tree, the ash tree, and the cypress together, to beautify the place of my sanctuary; I will glorify the place for my feet. The sons of those who oppressed you will come and bow down before you; all those treating you disrespectfully must bow down at your feet, and they will have to call you the city of Jehovah, Zion of the Holy One of Israel
Isa 60:13,14

This agrees with why the nations will be "rocked" to bring the gold and silver, which we now know does not represent good people, but actual resources - into the temple of Jehovah. (Hag 2:7-9) We also already know that the temple of Jehovah, his sanctuary is the holy ones, hence the beautifying of the "place of [Jehovah's] feet," and its being called: "Zion of the Holy One of Israel," ties everything together - so that there is no doubt that Zion, or Mount Zion, is just another name for the holy ones of the Most High!

But we, that is you and I (for understanding the information in this blog is a heart-to-heart conversation between you and I) have graduated from mere Evidence Profiles to the most fundamental type of "convincing evidence." We understand Evidence Profiles, but they are at the level of atoms and molecules in chemistry. We now want to graduate to the most fundamental layer of evidence and proof, a layer equivalent to quantum mechanisms in physics. That layer requires us not to prove things by inference, and deduction, but from first principles Evidence Profile building. That means, we build the Evidence Profile from the ground up - using the prophecies in the scriptures to furnish proofs. Here are three examples of first principle, Evidence Profile building:

But Saul kept on acquiring more and more power and was confounding the Jews who lived in Damascus, as he proved logically that this is the Christ
Ac 9:22

And ...

Now a Jew named A·pol'los, a native of Alexandria, arrived in Eph'e·sus; he was an eloquent man who was well-versed in the Scriptures. ... For publicly and with great intensity he thoroughly proved the Jews to be wrong, showing them from the Scriptures that Jesus is the Christ
Ac 18:24,28

And, of course, the master himself:

And starting with Moses and all the Prophets, he interpreted to them things pertaining to himself in all the Scriptures. ... And as he was dining with them, he took the bread, blessed it, broke it, and began handing it to them. At that their eyes were fully opened and they recognized him; but he disappeared from them. And they said to each other: "Were not our hearts burning within us as he was speaking to us on the road, as he was fully opening up the Scriptures to us?"
Lu 24:27,30-32

By now, surely we both know that Jehovah is a worker - who creates systems! That means all the proofs he has given me are not circumstantial - but convincing, logical, reasoned Evidence Profiles! From now on, Evidence Profiles are the only game in town!

I love all my brothers. But some more than others. That's human nature, and it's not wrong - even Christ was closer to three or four of his apostles - than he was to the rest. Now one of my favourites says, (I'm paraphrasing): "Jehovah is a God of style! When he does something, he doesn't just do it, but he does it - with style!" That was the same point my special curator friend taught me. (I loved that sister also - even though I only met her once, while driving her to Lanseria - because she was so bright and spiritual. She taught me so much! Within a half hour trip: we went from being total strangers to sharing a deep spiritual understanding.) How then will Jehovah manifest style in substantiating this Evidence Profile? Through one of the most beautiful prophecies ever written - it's found in the Book of Daniel:

You, O king, were watching, and you saw an immense image. That image, which was huge and extremely bright, was standing in front of you, and its appearance was terrifying. The head of that image was of fine gold, its chest and its arms were of silver, its abdomen and its thighs were of copper, its legs were of iron, and its feet were partly of iron and partly of clay. You looked on until a stone was cut out, not by hands, and it struck the image on its feet of iron and of clay and crushed them. At that time the iron, the clay, the copper, the silver, and the gold were, all together, crushed and became like the chaff from the summer threshing floor, and the wind carried them away so that not a trace of them could be found. But the stone that struck the image became a large mountain, and it filled the whole earth
Da 2:31-35

It is this powerful piece of inspired literature, that forms our Evidence Profile. By the way, I assume that you know that the inspiration behind prophecies is to create and establish Evidence Profiles about one or other aspect of the Christ! That is why they exist:

At that I fell down before his feet to worship him. But he tells me: "Be careful! Do not do that! I am only a fellow slave of you and of your brothers who have the work of witnessing concerning Jesus. Worship God! For the witness concerning Jesus is what inspires prophecy."
Re 19:10

That means for the holy ones (who have the work of bearing witness about the Christ), to do our jobs correctly, we have to know how to use prophecy to establish the Evidence Profiles about the Christ - just as Jehovah meant it to be! I will not waste time.

This prophecy is in three parts, and each part transforms from one to the other. These parts can be labeled as "the Stone" that is cut from a mountain; the stone transforming into a mountain; and lastly, the mountain growing to fill the whole Earth! Here they are - explained. It's simple, simple, simple. And elegant, elegant, elegant!

STEP ONE: The Stone

The stone being "cut out not by hands" means it is done by Jehovah. That is obvious. Two scriptures make the point clear:

By your relationship with him, you were also circumcised with a circumcision performed without hands by stripping off the fleshly body, by the circumcision that belongs to the Christ
Col 2:11

And ...

But he is a Jew who is one on the inside, and his circumcision is that of the heart by spirit and not by a written code
Ro 2:29a

The circumcision performed without hands is performed by the "spirit" - the spirit of Jehovah. (2Co 3:6; Joh 6:63) So, it is Jehovah who cuts the stone. Thereafter, we are told that the stone becomes a large mountain. That is the detail we want to zoom in on. For this to happen, the stone has to come to a standstill after it smashes through the feet of the immense image. What is that location? We know if: for "no one can lay any other other foundation than what is laid, which is Jesus Christ." There is only one foundation stone in the whole Bible - Jesus Christ. (Ps 118:22,23)

The stone that the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone. This has come from Jehovah; it is wonderful in our eyes
Ps 118:22,23

It coming "from Jehovah" is the cutting "without hands." Christ used this same scripture to explain that he was that stone! (Mr 12:10,11) We all know where that Stone was laid:

Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord Jehovah says: "Here I am laying as a foundation in Zion a tested stone, the precious cornerstone of a sure foundation. No one exercising faith will panic."
Isa 28:16

We have covered the stone. We are focused on Jehovah's means of bringing salvation ... and not on the destruction of Satan's system of things, for the nations "are like a drop from a bucket, and as the film of dust on the scales they are regarded," by Jehovah - completely inconsequential. (Isa 40:15) So we are not, here interested, in what the collapsing image means. Our only focus is on Christ - and showing how prophecy leads to understanding him. (Lu 24:19-27) We move on to how the precious, tested foundation cornerstone turns into a large mountain!

STEP TWO: The Stone Becomes a Mountain

There is a building project that Jehovah has been working on for almost 4 000 years! I'm not big on history, so I might be out by a decade or two. The detail is not significant spiritually, it falls into the "nice to know" category. I will give you my reckoning, so you can correct on your side, if you see a miscalculation. As I said, the timing doesn't seem to be spiritually significant. If it is, Jehovah has or will reveal that to another holy one - or to me later. Here then is my reckoning of how I arrive at 3965 years for this building project.

I will not substantiate the dates with references, you can research that for yourself, easily enough. (Type in: "Counting Back to Adam's Creation," on jw.org.) The Israelites came out of Egypt in 1513 BCE. But the direction from Jehovah, to Abraham to leave Ur and go to the land of Canaan was made 430 years earlier in 1943 BCE. That is when the building project started, in earnest. That was when Jehovah picked Abraham - the father of all those having faith, to be the patriarch of a "kingdom of priests and a holy nation." (Ro 4:11; Ex 19:5,6) The initial phase lasted from Abram in 1943 BCE to 70 CE at the fall of Jerusalem in the first century. Since there is no zero when you count down from BCE and switch to CE, we subtract one from 1943, and say 1942 plus 33 equals 1980. 33CE was pentecost - and the moment the first administration of the Christian era - The Way - began! We then, just get the difference between 33 CE and the present date, as of this writing in early March 2023. We are not interested in months - and exact dates. There difference is 1990 years. Thus the building project had two phases of almost exactly equal lengths (according to my reckoning). Since there is only a decade between these two dates, I couldn't help but think I am missing 10 years somewhere. But Jehovah has not given me the history "talent." The holy one responsible for that (if it is important enough to explain), will publish that revelation.

What was to be built?:

"'You have seen for yourselves what I did to the Egyptians, in order to carry you on wings of eagles and bring you to myself. Now if you will strictly obey my voice and keep my covenant, you will certainly become my special property out of all peoples, for the whole earth belongs to me. You will become to me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.' These are the words that you are to say to the Israelites."
Ex 19:4-6

As the holy spirit says through Paul: "To them belong the adoption as sons and the glory and the covenants and the giving of the Law and the sacred service and the promises." (Ro 9:4) The fulfillment is found at Revelation 5:9 and 10:

And they sing a new song, saying: "You are worthy to take the scroll and open its seals, for you were slaughtered and with your blood you bought people for God out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, and you made them to be a kingdom and priests to our God, and they are to rule as kings over the earth."
Re 5:9,10

Now this kingdom of priests is the city, temple, field under cultivation, vineyard that gives its fruits when they are due ... that we have been reading about the whole time. It is this city having "real foundations, whose designer and builder is God" that Abraham himself - as the father of all those having faith - was waiting for. (Heb 11:10) Now a point of clarification. Look at the three scriptures below - and get the main point:

But why do you judge your brother? Or why do you also look down on your brother? For we will all stand before the judgment seat of God
Ro 14:10

Versus ...

Because he has set a day in which he purposes to judge the inhabited earth in righteousness by a man whom he has appointed, and he has furnished a guarantee to all men in that he has resurrected him from the dead."
Ac 17:31

And ...

For we must all be made manifest before the judgment seat of the Christ, that each one may get his award for the things done through the body, according to the things he has practiced, whether it is good or vile
2Co 5:10

We see that Jehovah delegates the implementation of something that he is prophesied to do to Christ. This is a common dynamic. In this case the explanation is that when Christ judges, he does so righteously, because: "I cannot do a single thing of my own initiative. Just as I hear, I judge, and my judgment is righteous because I seek, not my own will, but the will of him who sent me." And since he is the "reflection of God's glory," the "exact representation of his very being," we can understand why those two just discussed dynamics mean Christ is perfect to judge on Jehovah's behalf! (Mt 25:31,32)

For the Father judges no one at all, but he has entrusted all the judging to the Son, so that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father
Joh 5:22,23a

We get back to our current point: just like Jehovah says the whole world will stand before the judgement seat of God, but then we find out that the implementation is through Christ, so it is, with the building of this city. Though, Jehovah is prophesied to be its builder - in the implementation, Jehovah delegates the honour of building this city to Christ! Now we know why - so that he can be honoured along with his Father! So, we start with:

For he was awaiting the city having real foundations, whose designer and builder is God
Heb 11:10

As there, so here: Jehovah again uses Christ for implementation:

"I have raised up a man in righteousness, and I will make all his ways straight. He is the one who will build my city and set my exiles free without a price or a bribe," says Jehovah of armies
Isa 45:13

Next, we return to Hebrews, to learn all we need to get a positive, and independent confirmation of what/who this city is:

But now they are reaching out for a better place, that is, one belonging to heaven. Therefore, God is not ashamed of them, to be called on as their God, for he has prepared a city for them
Heb 11:16

Here we learn that the city God is preparing is "one belonging to Heaven!" Immediately, we know: "New Jerusalem" - the bride of Christ! (Re 21:1-3; 2Co 6:16; Ps 132:13,14) Now, we already know that one of the names by which this "city of Jehovah" is called is Zion:

To you the glory of Leb'a·non will come, the juniper tree, the ash tree, and the cypress together, to beautify the place of my sanctuary; I will glorify the place for my feet. The sons of those who oppressed you will come and bow down before you; all those treating you disrespectfully must bow down at your feet, and they will have to call you the city of Jehovah, Zion of the Holy One of Israel
Isa 60:13,14

Now Jehovah glorifying the "place for [his] feet," by forcing our enemies to bow down at our feet, is because Jehovah's footstool, is, the city of Jehovah, which is Mount Zion. Several scriptures make that point emphatically. Usually, they each only cover two out of the three variables, but by comparing them with each other, you can combine their Evidence Profiles, so that all three variables are accounted for:

Jehovah has become King. Let the peoples tremble. He sits enthroned above the cherubs. Let the earth shake. Jehovah is great in Zion, and he is high over all the peoples. ... Exalt Jehovah our God and bow down at his footstool; he is holy. ... Exalt Jehovah our God and bow down before his holy mountain, for Jehovah our God is holy
Ps 99:1,2,5,9

In this case we have: Zion, footstool, and holy mountain all in one verse. Verses 5 and 9 are parallels: making it clear that bowing down "at his footstool' and bowing down before "his holy mountain" is one and the same act! So the "footstool" is the "holy mountain." But the "footstool" is also known as his residence:

Then King David rose to his feet and said: "Hear me, my brothers and my people. It was my heart's desire to build a house as the resting-place for the ark of the covenant of Jehovah and as the footstool of our God, and I made preparations to build
1Ch 28:2

And ...

Let us come into his residence; let us bow down at his footstool
Ps 132:7

Thus, Zion, the footstool, the holy mountain, and the resting-place or temple of Jehovah are all the same thing. Of course, as we know the anointed are that temple/house:

Now Moses was faithful as an attendant in all the house of that One as a testimony of the things that were to be spoken afterward, but Christ was faithful as a son over God's house. We are His house
Heb 3:5,6

The fact that all these descriptions share one Evidence Profile, is brought home by Paul, who makes it abundantly clear and gives us one reference point that combines all the moving parts into one powerful scripture!:

But you have approached a Mount Zion and a city of the living God, heavenly Jerusalem
Heb 12:22

"Mount Zion is the city" of the living God. It is also called Heavenly Jerusalem, confirming the earlier statement in 11:16 that this ciy that is being prepared - belongs "to Heaven." Lastly on that same point of Heavenly Jerusalem, we know it is also called "New Jerusalem." The point of focusing so much on the Heavenly city being prepared, is that, in the end, this scripture shows it and Mount Zion are one and the same entity:

So Mount Zion is Heavenly or New Jerusalem. (Obviously, New and Heavenly Jerusalem are just descriptors, for the same entity, as New Jerusalem comes "down from Heaven." (Re 21:2)

The Mountain Identified!

We have now identified the mountain. (Zec 8:3) Having done so from first principles, we now want to know when and how the "stone" changed into that "large mountain?"

Turning Point

I have previously listed the functions, which are dependent on the existence of Zion. These you will remember where all functions of the third administration. Why is that significant? The last time we hear about Zion, it is in the sad state prophesied in Jeremiah 26:6!:

Say to them: "This is what Jehovah says, 'If you will not listen to me by following my law that I have placed before you, by listening to the words of my servants the prophets, whom I am sending to you again and again, whom you have not listened to, then I will make this house like Shi'loh, and I will make this city an object of cursing to all the nations of the earth.'"
Jer 26:6

This sad state culminated in the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 CE as retribution for killing the Messiah - as Christ himself foretold:

Lastly he sent his son to them, saying, 'They will respect my son.' On seeing the son, the cultivators said among themselves, ‘This is the heir. This has come from Jehovah, and it is marvelous in our eyes'? This is why I say to you, the Kingdom of God will be taken from you and be given to a nation producing its fruits. ... When the chief priests and the Pharisees heard his illustrations, they knew that he was speaking about them
Mt 21:37-43, 45

Thus Christ prophesied the destruction of their society: both "our place and our nation," as they put it. (Joh 11:48) This sad state persisted until 1914. Christ had - while on Earth - prophesied that 1914 would be the year that, "the appointed times of the nations are fulfilled." (Lu 21:24) (Get a free Bible study if you don't know how we arrive at 1914. Get that Bible study!)

Now, here is the point: since, the functions of the second administration of Christ - The Truth - did not depend on any of the functions of Zion that I listed for you earlier, about 15 of them (since they are functions of the third administration of Christ: The Life), this abandoned state of Zion, persisted! Jehovah did not at that point restore the condition of Zion. You will see clearly why imminently - when we discuss how the curse was turned into a blessing!:

From a Curse to a Blessing
"Is E'phra·im not a precious son to me, a beloved child? for as often as I speak against him, I do remember him still. That is why my emotions are stirred for him. and I will surely have pity on him," declares Jehovah. ... This is what Jehovah of armies, the God of Israel, says: "They will again say these words in the land of Judah and in its cities when I gather back their captives: 'May Jehovah bless you, O righteous dwelling place, O holy mountain.'
Jer 31:20, 23

Now, as we have established before "then," is a function of "when!" (De 30:1-7) This prophecy also has that cause-and-effect Evidence Profile. "When" is the cause; and "then" is the effect. So what does "then" represent at Jeremiah 31? It represents people again saying, "May Jehovah bless you, O righteous dwelling place, holy mountain." So, what happened to Shiloh when it was cursed? What did it being cursed ... mean?

He finally forsook the tabernacle of Shi'loh, the tent where he had resided among men
Ps 78:60

It means being abandoned by Jehovah. His holy spirit is not present and thus that person (as in King Saul), or entity (as in the tabernacle at Shiloh) - is no longer "holy!" Destruction soon follows. This is what happened to Jerusalem after Jesus was killed in 33 CE. 37 years later - Jerusalem was in flames - being burned until not a stone was left on a stone!:

Now as Jesus was departing from the temple, his disciples approached to show him the buildings of the temple. In response he said to them: "Do you not see all these things? Truly I say to you, by no means will a stone be left here upon a stone and not be thrown down."
Mt 24:1,2

Do you see the pattern - and how it works? Alright. Before we even look at the scriptural evidence for what the opposite situation - a blessing looks like, what can we say we are expecting? If a curse involved three major components: abandonment by Jehovah, which means that entity is no longer "holy," and then imminent destruction, figuring out the opposite effect is quite straightforward. It must start with the opposite of abandonment: Jehovah coming to us! Then it proceeds to holiness, as Jehovah's spirit is now present. Then lastly, we would expect the opposite of destruction - being established! Do we all agree that that scenario is the opposite of what happens when we are "cursed?"

Alright, let us now see if the scriptural definition of a blessing includes those things:

"Shout for joy, O daughter of Zion; for I am coming, and I will reside in your midst," declares Jehovah. "Many nations will join themselves to Jehovah in that day, and they will become my people; and I will reside in your midst." And you will have to know that Jehovah of armies has sent me to you. Jehovah will take possession of Judah as his portion on the holy ground, and he will again choose Jerusalem. Be silent, all flesh, before Jehovah, for he is taking action from his holy dwelling
Zec 2:10-13
The Opposite of Abandonment is ...?

"Shout for joy, O daughter of Zion; for I am coming," says Jehovah of Armies. How wonderful. You get goose bumps. Let's look at our next expectation.

The Opposite of not Being Holy is ...?

"'And I will reside in your midst,' declares Jehovah." As soon as Jehovah's spirit resides in something, we know that it is holy! (Eph 2:21,22) From Ephesians the connection between us being holy and Jehovah dwelling in us through his spirit is beyond clear! How about our third criteria? Is it met, in the blessing?

The Opposite of Destruction is ...?
"Many nations will join themselves to Jehovah in that day, and they will become my people; and I will reside in your midst." And you will have to know that Jehovah of armies has sent me to you. Jehovah will take possession of Judah as his portion on the holy ground, and he will again choose Jerusalem.
Zec 2:11,12

The opposite of being destroyed, is being established as a major destination that "many nations will join themselves to." This is prophesied to happen when Jehovah "again choose[s] Jerusalem!" Wonderful! This being established is what is meant by the stone becoming a large mountain - in the Daniel 2:31-35 prophecy. Now, when did Jeremiah 31:23 tell us the blessings would come. We are intensely interested in this turning point. What is the catalyst? Let me re-quote only the relevant part for you:

"They will again say these words in the land of Judah and in its cities when I gather back their captives: ‘May Jehovah bless you....'"
Jer 31:23a

The blessing will only happen when ... Jehovah "gather[s] back" the "captives [of Judah]!" Now, which is the administration that is responsible for this gathering work?:

For an administration at the full limit of the appointed times, to gather all things together in the Christ, the things in the heavens and the things on the earth. Yes, in him
Eph 1:10

It is The Life! So that is why Zion lay dormant - or in its unhealed condition all throughout the administration of The Truth, because the gathering work was only due at that end of the appointed times - not when Christ was enthroned in 1914. Now, of course, the administration of The Truth was blessed by Jehovah - in many and very powerful ways. I myself have benefitted so much from being in The Truth. I love it. But the blessing we are speaking of here, has to do specifically with Zion and re-establishing it! It is this re-establishment that is represented by the stone of Daniel chapter 2, turning into "a large mountain." (Da 2:35) Let's zoom in on that - the mountain being established!:

In the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed. And this kingdom will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it alone will stand forever
Da 2:44

As I told you before: whenever, you see a sentence with the formula of something starting in the old system and lasting forever it can only apply to the holy ones - and specifically, the holy ones once the third administration has started. Similarly, in this case: our kingdom is set up in this system; takes over everything; and rules forever without being passed on to any other people.

This "set up" represents the turning point from being "cursed" to becoming "blessed." That set up, in turn, is realized through the stone becoming a large mountain. This is the construction project that I earlier said took 1990 years since 33 CE. Since pentecost of that year, Jehovah has been carefully choosing anointed ones, and - through Christ - working to perfect them! This is what Ephesians 4:7,8,11-16 is all about:

Now undeserved kindness was given to each one of us according to how the Christ measured out the free gift. For it says: "When he ascended on high he carried away captives; he gave gifts in men." ... And he gave some as apostles, some as prophets, some as evangelizers, some as shepherds and teachers, with a view to the readjustment of the holy ones, for ministerial work, to build up the body of the Christ, until we all attain to the oneness of the faith and of the accurate knowledge of the Son of God, to being a full-grown man, attaining the measure of stature that belongs to the fullness of the Christ. So we should no longer be children, tossed about as by waves and carried here and there by every wind of teaching by means of the trickery of men, by means of cunning in deceptive schemes. But speaking the truth, let us by love grow up in all things into him who is the head, Christ. From him all the body is harmoniously joined together and made to cooperate through every joint that gives what is needed. When each respective member functions properly, this contributes to the growth of the body as it builds itself up in love
Eph 4:7,8,11-16

Build. Up. The. Congregation. Of. The. Holy. Ones! Once, we have identified our three variables, we want to know what they accomplish? Jer 31:13 quoted earlier - answers:

Be silent, all flesh, before Jehovah, for he is taking action from his holy dwelling.
Jer 31:13

Vrystaan jy! The gathering work only happens, to enable Jehovah to take "action from his his holy dwelling," once we have been "set up," as per Daniel 2:44. As we have already thoroughly discussed, because Jehovah could not take judgemental actions against his enemies while the anointed were still being chosen - not gathered, but chosen - the turning point of Zion going from being cursed to blessed could not have happened during the administration of The Truth. The Truth is responsible for identifying the holy ones through the preaching of the Good News, But The Life is responsible for gathering them together into one entity - Mighty Mount Zion. It is not enough to have holy ones existing on Earth. They must be gathered into one entity. Only then, does Jehovah bless Mount Zion - not on an individual level, but as an entity: Mount Zion! This blessing, is thus a function of the administration of The Life! And it is from now, that Jehovah will take action from his holy dwelling. That is what the setting up involves: going from a foundation stone to a complete building/city/field under cultivation - because the body of the Christ is - in essence complete:

After this I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding tight the four winds of the earth, so that no wind could blow on the earth or on the sea or on any tree. And I saw another angel ascending from the sunrise, having a seal of the living God; and he called with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was granted to harm the earth and the sea, saying: "Do not harm the earth or the sea or the trees, until after we have sealed the slaves of our God in their foreheads."
Re 7:1-4

And ...

Then Lot said to them: "Not there, please, Jehovah! Please, now, your servant has found favor in your eyes and you are showing great kindness to me by preserving me alive, but I am not able to flee to the mountainous region because I am afraid that disaster may overtake me and I will die. Please, now, this town is nearby and I can flee there; it is only a small place. May I, please, escape there? It is only a small place. Then I will survive." So he said to him: "Very well, I will also show you consideration by not overthrowing the town you speak of. Hurry! Escape there, because I cannot do anything until you arrive there!"
Ge 19:18-22

"I cannot do a single thing, until you arrive there!" That is exactly equal to: "Do not harm the earth or the sea or the trees, until after we have sealed the slaves of our God in their foreheads." Now, again, I want to emphasize that the anointed's third administration's "good works determined in advance by God" occurring now, does not mean that there will be no new anointed ones in a month's time, or in the next few years. That has nothing to do with me! Jehovah chooses - and Christ takes care of us: guarding us day and night! I have no access to such information. Why would Jehovah reveal that to me? Or, you? "So when they had assembled, they asked him: "Lord, are you restoring the kingdom to Israel at this time?" He said to them: "It does not belong to you to know the times or seasons that the Father has placed in his own jurisdiction." (Ac 1:6)

The things Jehovah reveals have to do with information humans need to take action on:

The things concealed belong to Jehovah our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our descendants forever, so that we may carry out all the words of this Law
De 29:29

Since there is no contribution I - or any other holy one - can make regarding the choosing of the holy ones (what I am going to do ... give Jehovah advice on whom to choose? - Ro 11:34), there is no need for Jehovah to reveal anything to us!

So, we have discussed how the stone turns into a large mountain. This just means Christ has finished building the city Jehovah tasked him with completing! His body is complete, or almost complete (you know what I mean). The point is, it is complete enough that the angels can let go of the "four winds of the Earth!" (Re 7:3; 2Co 10:5,6) There are different ways to build structures. You can do so on site, or through pre-fabrication, also known as 'prefab.' This second technique is when the structure of the new building is constructed off-site, but assembled on-site. That is how Mount Zion is put together! Christ has been working on us individually, from just as soon as Jehovah chooses us. (Isa 45:13; Eph 5:25-27; Php 1:19) From 33 CE onward the different parts of the building were being hard won and catalogued. With the rise of the third administration, Jehovah directs that they be gathered and assembled into one unit - Mount Zion, his holy temple! I want to emphasize that this does not mean that all holy ones will live in the same area of the Earth. No, it is more nuanced than that, for when Christ comes for us, he will gather us from the four corners of the Earth, meaning holy ones will be in many different countries. Mount Zion, just means we operate as a unit. If you are in The Truth, you know that it was frowned upon for the holy ones to be looked at as being special. That was because Jehovah's time for that development had not yet arrived. Now, that it has: not only will all people in The Truth/The Life look at holy ones in that light - but the whole world will also. That's the point! That is the temple of Haggai 2 that will be more glorious than Solomon's:

"'And I will shake all the nations, and the precious things of all the nations will come in; and I will fill this house with glory,' says Jehovah of armies. "'The silver is mine, and the gold is mine,' declares Jehovah of armies. "'The future glory of this house will be greater than the former,' says Jehovah of armies. "'And in this place I will grant peace,' declares Jehovah of armies."
Hag 2:7-9

It is precisely, because he is setting us apart as something most special that he is rocking all the nations and bringing their wealth to us! In turn, the glory will accumulate, and the knowledge we will publish and spread to all mankind - through The Life - is what will draw all right-hearted ones to Mount Zion. That is where Isaiah 2, Micah 4 and Zechariah 8 start to feature. But let's not get ahead of ourselves!

We now tackle the last of our three original variables. We have covered the identity of the stone. We have covered what the stone turning into a large mountain means. We are now looking on as the large mountain starts to fill the whole Earth! What does that mean? And what does it mean for all throughout the Earth, who love Jehovah - but are not anointed? What does it mean for you?:

In the final part of the days, the mountain of the house of Jehovah will become firmly established above the top of the mountains, and it will be raised up above the hills, and to it all the nations will stream. And many peoples will go and say: "come, let us go up to the mountain of Jehovah, to the house of the God of Jacob. He will instruct us about his ways, and we will walk in his paths." For law will go out of Zion, and the word of Jehovah out of Jerusalem. He will render judgment among the nations and set matters straight respecting many peoples
Isa 2:2-4a

And Micah 4 verses 1 to 7:

In the final part of the days, the mountain of the house of Jehovah will become firmly established above the top of the mountains, and it will be raised up above the hills, and to it peoples will stream. And many nations will go and say: "Come, let us go up to the mountain of Jehovah and to the house of the God of Jacob. He will instruct us about his ways, and we will walk in his paths." For law will go out of Zion, and the word of Jehovah out of Jerusalem. He will render judgment among many peoples and set matters straight respecting mighty nations far away. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning shears. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, nor will they learn war anymore. They will sit, each one under his vine and under his fig tree, and no one will make them afraid, for the mouth of Jehovah of armies has spoken. For all the peoples will walk, each in the name of its god, but we will walk in the name of Jehovah our God forever and ever. "In that day," declares Jehovah, "I will gather the one who was limping, and collect together the dispersed one, along with those I treated harshly. I will make the one who was limping a remnant, and the one far removed a mighty nation; and Jehovah will rule as king over them in Mount Zion, from now on and forever
Mic 4:1-7

I trust, you now understand these prophecies fully - for the first time. All the pieces of the puzzle that we have been identifying, simplifying and clearly defining for ourselves - are there! Even without any further exposition from me, you should be able to put together what is happening, i.e., what the significance of the time you find yourself living in, is! I am sure you read many times in the Bible when one or other amazing development was coming to fruition. Sometimes, even in the narrative one of the people then alive says something to the effect of, "what a time to be alive." Christ, explicitly said: "many ... have wanted to see these days, and hear what you are hearing...." Living, as you are, at the end of days, Jehovah has reserved many "Wow" moments for our times! I hope you tilled the soil of your heart sufficiently, so that these developments bring joy to your heart - and not sorrow and misgivings. There will be a lot of that, too.

I will not rob you of the joy of putting it together yourself! You are now trained in Evidence Profiles. You can pause, and take the time to try and put it together yourself. When you are ready, read on - for the full exposition!

In the above scriptures: we have key words like: "In the final part of the days" and "the mountain of the house of Jehovah will become firmly established," which are equivalent to Jehovah setting up the kingdom. Where do the people want to go? What is it called and what does it represent? What benefit will they get when they arrive? What do "Zion" and "Jerusalem" represent? What administration is responsible for administering this "judgement among many peoples and set[ting] matters straight" through the convincing evidence concerning "judgement?" Who is Jehovah gathering in that day? What is the Mount Zion that Jehovah will be ruling from? What is the significance of the statement: "From now on and forever," and to whom does it apply - and why? All interesting questions - and I trust that you know all the answers! Alright, we now move onto - what the mountain filling the whole Earth means!

STEP THREE: The Mountain Fills the Whole Earth

Do you recall what the problem is in the universe? I think we discussed it when we spoke of Spirics - and why Heaven is different from the Cosmos! In that discussion we mentioned that Heaven was the throne of God and that the earth was his "footstool." But then, we recognized a problem: there is a huge discrepancy between the intended footprint of the footstool - and its actual footprint. The footstool is supposed to be the whole earth! And yet, we find: "The whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one." Disconnect. Problem. But the one thing we know is that the word of God always comes true! How then will the following scripture come to fruition?:

This is what Jehovah says: "The heavens are my throne, and the earth is my footstool. where, then, is the house that you could build for me, and where is my resting-place?"
Isa 66:1

Now the definition of a footstool is in the Bible, so we don't have to struggle to know what this verse is trying to tell us:

He had affection for his people; all their holy ones are in your hand. They were sitting at your feet; they began to listen to your words
De 33:3

So, a footstool is the domain or dominion where people are glad to hear - and more importantly obey Jehovah's "words!" Immediately, we recognize that that is not how things stand. No one on Earth listens to Jehovah - except for a small fraction - numbering about 9 million - who are part of The Truth! These are the ones who keep offering Bible studies, as per Jehovah's instructions, so that people can survive what was foretold - and that which has already begun! Pleas that many people completely ignore. (Mt 24:14; Lu 18:8; Mt 7:13,14) That is the sad reality. They cannot listen for clear reasons:

You originate with God, little children, and you have conquered them, because the one who is in union with you is greater than the one who is in union with the world. They originate with the world; that is why they speak what originates with the world and the world listens to them. We originate with God. Whoever comes to know God listens to us; whoever does not originate with God does not listen to us
1Jo 4:4-6a

This reality has the effect of shrinking the footprint of Jehovah's footstool, since:

We know that we originate with God, but the whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one
1Jo 5:19

Thus, the footprint of Jehovah's footstool, is limited only to the temple:

He had affection for his people; all their holy ones are in your hand. They were sitting at your feet; they began to listen to your words
De 33:3

Thus, the only place Jehovah is respected and voluntarily given the worship he is due - is at the temple! (Re 4:11) ...

Let us come into his residence; let us bow down at his footstool
Ps 132:7

Now, as we have said his footstool is all his anointed holy ones: for we are his temple! That is why people who willingly want to worship Jehovah - must come to us! As per Jehovah's design:

As for the foreigners who join themselves to Jehovah to minister to him, to love the name of Jehovah and to be his servants, all those who keep the Sabbath and do not profane it and who hold fast to my covenant, I will also bring them to my holy mountain and make them rejoice inside my house of prayer. Their whole burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be accepted on my altar. For my house will be called a house of prayer for all the peoples."
Isa 56:6,7

This "holy mountain" of verse 7 is, of course, the same mountain/house of Jehovah of Isaiah and Micah fame. Jehovah cannot inhabit arrangements - only temples. We won't talk of that again. (Ja 3:1,2) If you understand Isaiah 56 verses 6 and 7, then you will understand what is happening in Isaiah chapter 45:

I made the earth and created man on it. I stretched out the heavens with my own hands, and I give orders to all their army.” "I have raised up a man in righteousness, and I will make all his ways straight. He is the one who will build my city and set my exiles free without a price or a bribe," says Jehovah of armies. This is what Jehovah says: "The profit of Egypt and the merchandise of E·thi·o'pi·a and the Sa·be'ans, tall of stature, will come over to you and become yours. They will walk behind you in chains. They will come over and bow down to you. To you they will say in prayer, 'Surely God is with you, and there is no one else; there is no other God.'"
Isa 45:12-14

For instance, you understand why Jehovah is angered and determined that as the Creator he will not give his glory to anyone else: "I am Jehovah. That is my name; I give my glory to no one else, nor my praise to graven images." (Isa 42:8) Despite the fact that he is the awe-inspiring Creator of Space and the Cosmos, people try to deny his existence. His remedy is pure genius: to "raise up a man in righteousness, ... he is the one who will build my city." Jehovah then promises to bring in the profit of all the world superpowers. Lastly, we learn that when they talk to us, it is in a form of prayer! That is not as strange as it sounds. This is not because, the anointed are to be worshipped. Only Jehovah is to be worshipped! That much is clear! (Mt 4:10) No. Resolving the discomfort is quite simple: it is because we - as Jehovah's temple - were designed to be a "house of prayer." (Heb 3:6; Isa 56:7) This is most ingenious! Mind-boggingly brilliant! Here are the facts.

It's All About the Size of the Footprint - Compared to the Earth!

Now, why did Jehovah appoint Christ to build him a city - Mount Zion - as a response to being disrespected by those who don't want to worship him? (Compare verses 12 and 13.) To know the answer, we must read Matthew 6:9,10:

"You must pray, then, this way: "'Our Father in the heavens, let your name be sanctified. Let your Kingdom come. Let your will take place, as in heaven, also on earth
Mt 6:9,10
How the Messianic Kingdom Eradicates the Footprint Gap

This city, which is the Messianic kingdom - is the entity that is responsible for closing the gap between the footprints of the "footstool" and the world - so that Jehovah's will, will come to take place: "as in Heaven, also on Earth!" The closing of that footprint gap means Christ and his holy ones through his third administration - the administration that administers "judgement" through "convincing evidence" - must conquer the whole world!

To the one who conquers I will grant to sit down with me on my throne, just as I conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne
Re 3:21

And that is what the "large mountain," growing to fill up the "whole Earth means!" When the mountain is firmly established, it is established "above the top of the mountains." (Isa 2:2) That means, from the very beginning of Mount Zion, we are the most prestigious address in the World! That is because Jehovah has reserved for us glories which no man can conceive of. Glories that can only be attained through revelation. That of course, is what The Greatest Story Ever Told, is! But what we are talking of now is another dynamic. After being established higher than all the other mountains and hills, Mount Zion goes on to grow - and grow to such an extent that it fills the whole Earth! Thus, closing the Footprint Gap! It is that dynamic that we are now laser focused on. Mount Zion will start of dominant, but there will still be other contenders - and stubborn Intellectuals. We have not brought them to nothing, yet. For instance, there are still false Gods. The publication of this blog, will not immediately change that. This is why the judgements are necessary! And why they are a function, only of the third administration. We can liken this exact moment in the history of the world to the first few times Moses and Aaron meet with Pharaoh. The coming judgements are equivalent to the plagues dolled out on Egypt. The equivalent development for Mount Zion, is our gathering the nations into the Valley of Jehoshophat - as detailed in the prophecy of Haggai chapter 3! More on that shortly.

All the while, as we keep conquering the world, we are attracting honest-hearted ones to Jehovah! They stream - of their own accord - to come and worship him with and through us. For, we are the ones that will establish and promulgate the laws of Jehovah. Thus, in addition to the holy ones who are Mount Zion - there is going to be a huge influx of willing worshippers of Jehovah. These are the people from Isaiah 2, and Micah 4. It is these people though, who take the initiative and seek out the holy one - they seek Mount Zion, as prophesied in Zechariah 8:20-23! The proverbial ten men holding on to the robe of a Jew! In this way, God's prophecies about the Christ and Mount Zion - are fulfilled:

But the stone that struck the image became a large mountain, and it filled the whole earth. ... "In the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed. And this kingdom will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it alone will stand forever
Da 2:35c,44

In other words, the fulfillment of Daniel's mountain growing to fill the whole Earth, and God's kingdom making Jehovah's will take place on Earth as it is in Heaven - are both descriptions of the same dynamic: how the Messianic kingdom, will take over the Earth! They have the same Evidence Profile! It is two different ways of describing the same thing! They are both taking Jehovah's influence on Earth, from the size of his temple and extending it to cover the whole Earth. This conquering is what The Life is all about:

For an administration at the full limit of the appointed times, to gather all things together in the Christ, the things in the heavens and the things on the earth. Yes, in him
Eph 1:10

This gathering is exactly like bounty hunting: dead or alive - the choice is yours, but you're coming with me! It requires the third administration to completely conquer all of God's enemies - and thus narrow the gap between the footprint of the footstool, and the footprint of the Earth - until it disappears! (1Co 1:25-29) We do this: taking one scalp after another - until we have conquered all opposition - and made it obedient to Christ!

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not wage warfare according to what we are in the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not fleshly, but powerful by God for overturning strongly entrenched things. For we are overturning reasonings and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are bringing every thought into captivity to make it obedient to the Christ; and we are prepared to inflict punishment for every disobedience, as soon as your own obedience is complete
2Co 10:3-6

The reason there is a difference in size between what the footprint of the footstool is supposed to be - and what it is: is lack of obedience! So, by bringing every errant thought in opposition to Christ "into captivity" - we are reversing that trend! And, simultaneously growing the footprint of the footstool! That's how our empire grows to fill the "whole Earth!" I trust this is clear, simple and straightforward! For instance, by now, you should be able to work out for yourself: how being "prepared to inflict punishment for every disobedience, as soon as your own obedience is complete," is related to the angels holding tight the four winds: "... So that no wind could blow on the earth or on the sea or on any tree. ... until after we have sealed the slaves of our God in their foreheads." It is important to make one thing clear: the difference in the size of Mount Zion is not a reflection of the fact that many peoples from many nations will come and join us in worshipping God. That has nothing to do with it. The difference in the size of Mount Zion from the beginning to the end of the administration of The Life, is due to The Life fulfilling all of 2 Corinthians 10:3-6! That scripture is only talking about the anointed. No part of it references the other sheep. (The whole Bible is like that - with rare and obvious exceptions!) So, when we start we have an advantage: we are a large mountain, that is taller than all the other mountains. But we must still conquer everything that is in opposition to Jehovah and his Christ! After, we have accomplished that, Mount Zion not a large mountain - it is the Earth. It fills the Earth - because we have conquered all opposition. It's like I explained in the page about binary choices: all the Evidence Profiles fall on the side of truth. People can decide to hate God; but there is no Evidence Profile that will support that stance. Hence, all who choose it, will have no leg to stand on - and will thus be destroyed, according to Jehovah's perfect justice. Daniel chapter 2 establishes that the stone that becomes a large mountain, and the large mountain that grows to fill the whole earth are all different aspects of establishing the kingdom of God. Revelation 5, on the other hand establishes that the kingdom of God - made up of a 144 000 people - is a kingdom of priests! In other words it is centered on the temple. In fact it is the temple - as per 2 Corinthians 6:16. Then Psalms 99 verses 5 and 9 make it clear that the "footstool" and the "holy mountain" are the same thing! Though they are part of the same passage of scripture, I am going to quote them separately so you can more easily see the parallel!:

Exalt Jehovah our God and bow down at his footstool; he is holy
Ps 99:5

And ...

Exalt Jehovah our God and bow down before his holy mountain, for Jehovah our God is holy
Ps 99:9

The exacting parallelism couldn't be clearer and establishes beyond doubt that "his footstool" is "his holy mountain!" What does this mean? It means, the establishing of the kingdom that will "never be destroyed" and that "will not be passed on to any other people," the very kingdom that "will stand forever," as the stone becomes a large mountain, and the large mountain fills the whole - is how Jehovah fulfills Matthew 6:10, which in turn brings about the fulfillment of Isaiah 66:1! The gap is now closed. Forever!

Do you get it?

This is all independent of what the other sheep are doing. Learning about Jehovah and his purposes benefits all of us personally, but the other sheep going through that process does not affect the size of Mount Zion. That growth is a function of only one thing: the "good works" that Jehovah has laid out in advance for the holy ones to perform, being done expertly and diligently by Christ's third administration - the administration of judgement: the administration of The Life! In turn, the power holy ones have, in the administration of The Life, to conquer Intellectuals and decimate their institutions, comes from our being "in union with Christ Jesus, who has become to us wisdom from God!" (1Co 1:30):

However, to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God. Because a foolish thing of God is wiser than men, and a weak thing of God is stronger than men. For you see his calling of you, brothers, that there are not many wise in a fleshly way, not many powerful, not many of noble birth, but God chose the foolish things of the world to put the wise men to shame; and God chose the weak things of the world to put the strong things to shame; and God chose the insignificant things of the world and the things looked down on, the things that are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, so that no one might boast in the sight of God. But it is due to him that you are in union with Christ Jesus, who has become to us wisdom from God, also righteousness and sanctification and release by ransom, so that it may be just as it is written: "The one who boasts, let him boast in Jehovah."
1Co 1:24-31

And this destruction of worldly wisdom - takes place while the Intellectual's system is still in place and running! This has already starting - as you very well know!

For it is written: "I will make the wisdom of the wise men perish, and the intelligence of the intellectuals I will reject." Where is the wise man? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this system of things? Has not God made the wisdom of the world foolish?
1Co 1:19,20
Two-Way Synergies

The last two scriptural passages, taken together, help to explain Ephesians 1:10, which is four quotations back: "to gather all things together in the Christ.... Yes, in him." What could that possibly mean?

1 Corinthians 1:30 tells us that we are "in union with Christ." The Bible also tells us that Christ is the sacred secret of God, and that: "Carefully concealed in him are all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge." To that realization, we add the knowledge of what it means to be "in union" with him:

For just as the body is one but has many members, and all the members of that body, although many, are one body, so too is the Christ. For by one spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free, and we were all made to drink one spirit
1Co 12:12,13

The "one spirit" by which we were all baptized "into one body," is of course, Christ's nested spirit - as already discussed! (Ro 8:14,15; Ga 4:4-6) How does that knowledge and the two scriptures in 1 Corinthians chapter one and twelve, then come together to explain Ephesians 1:10 - specifically, the part about all things being gathered "in Christ - yes, in him?" Because they explain the two-way synergy between Christ, and the anointed holy ones - who are his body! It is this functionality that allows for what we will call "reconciliation-by-relay."

From Him to Us

We remember that the "spirit," is the mind or consciousness of a person. Thus, our having Christ's spirit means we have his mind. In this way, all the treasures of wisdom, which are carefully concealed in him become available to us - since we are part of him, through possessing his mind. We are one body with him. That is one synergy: from Christ to us! Let's look at the second.

From Us to Him

To sit on Christ's throne, we must conquer the world, just like he conquered - and only then, sat on his Father's throne! Now every enemy we vanquish, every victory we gain becomes a part of our record - and legacy. In this way, through our faith - we conquer the world, and vanquish Jehovah's and Christ's enemies. Now, on Earth, no matter how successful a parent is, their accomplishments are their own. They can't pass them onto their kids, for instance. Have you seen the sad case of a parent who is very successful in a particular field - and his children try to follow suit, with regrettable results. Kardashian and his daughter Kim come to mind, as a recent example. Why is this? Because they are different people - and thus continuity is impossible. If the children do achieve acclaim, in the same field, it is always due to their own talents - and hard work. Here I am thinking of Denzel Washington and his son John David Washington. Accomplishments can never be transferred. In the case of the anointed and Christ however, whatever we achieve, he has also achieved. This is not because, we are somehow transferring our credits to him. No. We are him! As soon as we accomplish something - he has accomplished it too! Or, with, or through, whose strength do you think we accomplish said feats in the first place?:

... The sacred secret that was hidden from the past systems of things and from the past generations. But now it has been revealed to his holy ones, to whom God has been pleased to make known among the nations the glorious riches of this sacred secret, which is Christ in union with you, the hope of his glory. He is the one we are proclaiming, admonishing everyone and teaching everyone in all wisdom, so that we may present every person complete in union with Christ. To this end I am indeed working hard, exerting myself with his strength that is operating powerfully within me
Col 1:26-29

In this way, Christ is us and we are him! This is not a parable, or illustration, or anything - other than reality! Again: He is us; and we are him! He is the head, we are the body, of the same person - the same being!:

He [- Jehovah -] also subjected all things under his feet and made him head over all things with regard to the congregation, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills up all things in all
Eph 1:22,23

And, as his body, we use his strength, to accomplish all we do - and thus all our accomplishments are in him. Yes - in him! That is why we are described as his "fullness." He fills us up, through possessing all the treasures of knowledge; and we fill him up, by using that knowledge to conquer everything in opposition to him and his Father - and ours - Jehovah of Armies. The process of using his knowledge to conquer the world is called the third administration of the Christ - or The Life! Do you get it? Going through this process is what takes Mount Zion from being a large mountain, to being a mountain that fills the whole Earth! Thus, this administration of conquest, is simultaneously, an administration of judgement - against those in opposition! I trust that all is clear.

It's all, you will agree with me: very simple! The administration of judgement is all about increasing the footprint of the footstool - until it covers the whole world! To achieve this, Jehovah has determined that Mount Zion must be established, hence the tested stone will become Mount Zion. This just means going from Christ by himself to Christ in union with the 144 000! For that to happen, Jehovah has decreed an administration which will gather them - "at the full limit of the appointed times!" (Eph 1:10) This administration is the last of three administrations of the Christ, that must be accomplished before the "last trumpet," that is, before we go to heaven: The Way; The Truth; and The Life! But gathering the things in the heavens, is not the only gathering work this administration of The Life is responsible for: it is also required to gather all the Earthly things, into Christ. This is accomplished by conquering Jehovah's foes! Since, this act is equal to Jehovah's domain of authority increasing in the Earth - it is likened to the mountain, growing to fill "the whole earth." (Da 2:36) Thus Daniel chapter 2 and Ephesians 1 explain each other! These events automatically, reconcile the universe back to its original form, by starting a chain reaction: we "own" the worldly, things, in turn we are owned by Christ, who, in turn is owned by Jehovah. And, thus both realms of the universe will once again exist in harmony! The whole earth will be Jehovah's footstool - once again! And thus, will Isaiah 66:1 be fulfilled:

Also, he is before all other things, and by means of him all other things were made to exist, and he is the head of the body, the congregation. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that he might become the one who is first in all things; because God was pleased to have all fullness to dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all other things by making peace through the blood he shed on the torture stake, whether the things on the earth or the things in the heavens
Col 1:17-20

The Greatly Diversified Wisdom of God

The solution to how the discord in the universe is eventually solved is due to the "greatly diversified wisdom" of God - which cannot be equalled, or rivalled! (Eph 3:10-12) It was through this wisdom that Jehovah decided that the reconciliation of all renegade elements would be accomplished by each layer of his Heavenly Kingdom participating! That means not only him and the Christ (Joh 5:17), but also, the "congregation of the firstborn" - us! (Heb 12:23) Jehovah has decreed that the only way to share in the glory is to share in the works! Thus, since we are to be glorified alongside him and his Son - we must also participate in the outworking of his will, through the "good works which God determined in advance for us to walk in them." (Eph 2:10; 2Co 4:10; 2Ti 2:11,12; 3:12; Re 3:21; 20:4) As, we perform them ...

Beloved ones, do not be surprised about the fiery trials that you are experiencing, as though something strange were happening to you. On the contrary, go on rejoicing over the extent to which you are sharers in the sufferings of the Christ, so that you may rejoice and be overjoyed also during the revelation of his glory
1Pe 4:12,13

And ...

For though the tribulation is momentary and light, it works out for us a glory that is of more and more surpassing greatness and is everlasting
2Co 4:17

So it is the tribulation that "works out for us" the coming glory. That means our glory as holy ones is a function of our participating in the sufferings of the Christ. No suffering. No share in the glory!:

If, then, we are children, we are also heirs - heirs indeed of God, but joint heirs with Christ - provided we suffer together so that we may also be glorified together
Ro 8:17

Thus, all three levels share, and because we are all in union with each other through the central figure of Christ - our efforts are cumulative and more importantly, credited to one account! And it is that dynamic, that makes reconciliation-by-relay possible! If one angel accomplished something for Jehovah, and another angel similarly succeeds at his task, their individual efforts are cumulative - they can be added together - but they are not reconcilable: because they are credited to two different accounts. But since anyone who is in "joined to the Lord is one spirit," that is, one spiritual body, with him - we have one account, and can thus, reconcile our individual efforts to one account! The following scripture is a most important passage: read it carefully - with understanding:

Just as you sent me forth into the world, I also sent them forth into the world. And I am sanctifying myself in their behalf, that they also may be sanctified by means of truth. "I make request, not concerning these only, but also concerning those putting faith in me through their word; in order that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in union with me and I am in union with you, that they also may be in union with us, in order that the world may believe that you sent me forth. Also, I have given them the glory that you have given me, in order that they may be one just as we are one. I in union with them and you in union with me, in order that they may be perfected into one, that the world may have the knowledge that you sent me forth and that you loved them just as you loved me
Joh 17:18-23

What does this most important function of unity make possible? The afore-defined "reconciliation-by-relay!" What does that mean? Since Jehovah is connected to Christ, through Jehovah's spirit; and Christ is connected to us via his and Jehovah's nested spirits - and his spiritual body, we are working to credit one account! Our being one account, means we share the same liabilities (sufferings) - and assets (glories/possessions).

Below, we use scripture to highlight a subtle nuance:

Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I, then, take the members of the Christ away and make them members of a harlot? Never may that happen! What! Do you not know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body? For, "The two," says he, "will be one flesh." But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit
1Co 6:15-17 | New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures - With References

I must point out that those who are joined to the Lord being "one spirit" is not referencing the mind or consciousness. It is referencing his spiritual body. The contrast with the members of a harlot, makes it clear that we are here talking about Christ's "spiritual body" - otherwise the comparison is invalid. (1Co 15:44) We are not said to be in one mind with the harlot, through fornication - but in one body. Now, is not the time to get into this - and we shouldn't have to, but I see a mistake has crept in. That is why the citation is to the Bible with References. We are not one with him "in spirit" (which is a reference to his consciousness) - but, we are rather "one spirit" with him, which is something totally different! Totally different. Many people who sleep with harlots - hate them. That is they become members of their bodies through the principle of sexual union, as quoted in the scripture, out of lack of self-control, not intention - but they are disgusted by their conduct. Is is easier to separate the different aspects with a human because they have different names: "flesh" and "spirit" (as in mind) - for instance. But when the subject is a spirit being, the word spirit applies to both the mind and the body - hence the confusion. We can talk about this another time, but just not to leave you in the lurch, I will point you in the right direction. And you can meditate on the guiding principles, in your own time. The Evidence Profile for correctly understanding the nuance behind this distinction, is that the 144 000 are called Christ's "bride!" Why is that? Because we are one "spiritual body" with him, in the very same way as a married couple on Earth - are one "physical body" with each other. Are we also one body with Jehovah? No! We are only in union with Jehovah mentally - not through "spiritual bodies!" We are not Jehovah's wife! In fact, this is another "sacred secret." This is what the holy spirit is trying to explain through Paul, in Ephesians 5:29-32! In this context, Jehovah is also our Father-in-law. After the last trumpet, when we get to Heaven: if Jehovah tells Christ something about us, Christ is bound, by Jehovah's own principle of husbands leaving their parents and sticking to their wives - to take our side: "No I enjoy her cooking Dad," is the only answer he can give. That kind of thing. Read the quoted verses in Ephesians chapter 5 - and meditate to understand. We are one mentally, with both Jehovah and Christ. But, we are only one spiritual body with Christ. We are not members of Jehovah's eternal body - it already existed ... forever! Whereas, Jehovah prepared a body for Christ. Remember the designer and builder of the city is Jehovah! We are that city! Thus, what is being spoken of here is different to what 1 Corinthians 12:12 and 13 are referencing. When that scripture speaks of "drinking one spirit," it is indeed referencing his mind: like saying you have one blood for humans. So, we need to be alert to the fact that with spiritual beings, both the mind and the body are called by the same name - "spirit." Thus, we must look at the context to discern if the scriptural passage is referencing the mind; or the body! Check. We move on.

Back to our point of focus: what does reconciliation-by-relay accomplish - or make possible? So, we have the same account as Christ, and he has the same account with his Father, but for totally different reasons. With him and his Father, its because: he does nothing out of his own initiative. "Whatever things that One does, these things the Son does also in like manner." (Joh 5:19) I called it a "relay." Think of a relay team in the hundred meter 4x100m sprint that was made up of four Usain Bolt's, each one only responsible for running one leg! Now, the situation is similar with Jehovah, Christ and Christ's body - the congregation of the firstborn. Whatever we accomplish on Earth gets credited to Christ's account, and whatever he accomplishes gets credited to Jehovah's account - due to the source of the supply of power and "good works." (Lu 5:17; Joh 17:4; Col 1:29; Ac 9:15,16) Remember that the Christ is the vine, and we are the branches producing fruit. But the fruit are given the name of the tree - not the branches. It's an apple tree! Who cares about the branches? What unique situation does this create? Reconciliation-by-relay. Since we have one account - unlike those angels - whatever we accomplish is credited to Jehovah through Christ, and obviously, the same occurs, between Christ and Jehovah. In this way, whenever the anointed conquer, Jehovah and Christ are conquering! And so it is with the "reconciliation." Whatever, we reconcile in ourselves, by subsuming it, we make obsolete! While the individual works are credited to the respective holy ones who performed them - the fruits are not known by the names of the branches, but of the tree that grows them - Jesus; and its cultivator - Jehovah!:

"I am the true vine, and my Father is the cultivator. He takes away every branch in me not bearing fruit, and he cleans every one bearing fruit, so that it may bear more fruit. You are already clean because of the word that I have spoken to you. Remain in union with me, and I will remain in union with you. Just as the branch cannot bear fruit by itself unless it remains in the vine, neither can you unless you remain in union with me. I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever remains in union with me and I in union with him, this one bears much fruit; for apart from me you can do nothing at all. If anyone does not remain in union with me, he is thrown out like a branch and dries up. And men gather those branches and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. If you remain in union with me and my sayings remain in you, ask whatever you wish and it will take place for you. My Father is glorified in this, that you keep bearing much fruit and prove yourselves my disciples. Just as the Father has loved me, so I have loved you; remain in my love. If you observe my commandments, you will remain in my love, just as I have observed the commandments of the Father and remain in his love
Joh 15:1-10

That is why as soon as Christ saw that his apostles were getting it, he became overjoyed - because he could see that Satan had failed:

Then the 70 returned with joy, saying: "Lord, even the demons are made subject to us by the use of your name." At that he said to them: "I see Satan already fallen like lightning from heaven
Lu 10:17,18

That was the first time, there was a working prototype of this principle in action. It is not enough for Christ, to conquer the Devil. The anointed have to conquer him too - through our faith! (1Jo 5:4) The account in Luke was the first working example of this functionality - but it was not the last! It is through such relays that every renegade element in Satan's world will be "overturned" by the anointed and made "obedient to the Christ!" (2Co 10:5) Now. In our time. Then, Christ will, of course, in turn submit himself to Jehovah! (1Co 15:27,28: Php 2:6,7) Long past prototypes, let us now look at the latest application of this wonderful functionality!:

For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God, for it is written: "He catches the wise in their own cunning." And again: "Jehovah knows that the reasonings of the wise men are futile." So let no one boast in men; for all things belong to you, whether Paul or A·pol'los or Ce'phas or the world or life or death or things now here or things to come, all things belong to you; in turn you belong to Christ; Christ, in turn, belongs to God
1Co 3:19-23

How will this manifest itself now, at the end of times? By Jehovah using the third administration, which includes all his holy ones - to crush all remaining Intellectual opposition to his rule. It is these judgements - which will intensify with time - that are meted out in the Valley of Jehoshaphat, as a consequence of the gathering of the holy ones, or the setting up of Mount Zion. (Whichever perspective you prefer.) (Joe 3:1,2):

For you see his calling of you, brothers, that there are not many wise in a fleshly way, not many powerful, not many of noble birth, but God chose the foolish things of the world to put the wise men to shame; and God chose the weak things of the world to put the strong things to shame; and God chose the insignificant things of the world and the things looked down on, the things that are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, so that no one might boast in the sight of God
1Co 1:26-29

This is all grounded on the fact that the gathering of the holy ones takes precedence over the gathering of worldly people. It comes first! This gathering of the holy ones relates to the point in the prophecy of Daniel, where the stone becomes a mountain. That means the mountain then growing to fill the Earth - which comes afterwards - is a function of the gathering of the holy ones. Put another way: if the holy ones are not gathered - the Messianic Kingdom will not make Jehovah's will "take place as in Heaven, also on Earth." (Mt 6:10) Just like in the prophecy in Joel, the nations are only gathered for judgement - after, the captives of Judah and Jerusalem are themselves gathered. Put another way: the stone becoming a mountain, comes before that mountain, Mount Zion, can be used by Jehovah to punish the nations. For the nations will only be punished with judgements, once Mount Zion is safe! Jehovah will not do a single thing before the "crop permits" it. (Mt 13:28,29; Mr 4:29) So judgement, must necessarily follow Jehovah's holy ones being ready (overall) for it to arrive. When that time comes: Jehovah institutes the third administration - The Life: which is all about supplying the world with convincing evidence that will lead to everlasting judgements! Look for sequence in the following verses:

For look! in those days and in that time, when I bring back the captives of Judah and Jerusalem, I will also gather together all the nations and bring them down to the Valley of Je·hosh'a·phat. I will enter into judgment with them there .... Let the nations be roused and come up to the Valley of Je·hosh'a·phat; For there I will sit in order to judge all the surrounding nations
Joe 3:1,2,12

It is the arrival and rise of that administration - that I am publishing to you! Hallelujah!

Now this is how you know the administration of gathering is necessary for the coming functions that are due in our time. Joel 3 verse 2 where Jehovah says: "I will also gather together all the nations and bring them down to the Valley of Je·hoshʹa·phat. I will enter into judgment with them there," is a two-pronged attack! There are two functions there: gathering together; and judgement. To kindly allow for his Son and the holy ones who make up his body to share in his glory: Jehovah has kindly delegated these functions to Christ and the holy ones - through The Life! The Life handles the "gather[ing]," while Christ has been gifted the role of judging. We know this because Christ does no gathering. When he comes and starts judging - he finds the nations already gathered:

When the Son of man arrives in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit down on his glorious throne. And all the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate people one from another, just as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats
Mt 25:31,32

Christ separates. He doesn't gather!

Who gathered the nations into the valley of Jehoshaphat? You already know the answer:

For an administration at the full limit of the appointed times, to gather all things together in the Christ, the things in the heavens and the things on the earth. Yes, in him
Eph 1:10

How? By decimating the Intellectuals and their nonsensical metaphysical ideas, which are the Jenga foundations of the world you live in - and which most trust, as being infallible.

For the weapons of our warfare are not fleshly, but powerful by God for overturning strongly entrenched things. For we are overturning reasonings and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are bringing every thought into captivity to make it obedient to the Christ
2Co 10:4,5

Isn't scientific prophecy wonderful!

The Greatly Diversified Wisdom of God - Explained

Figure 95 - The full range of the greatly diversified wisdom of God knows no bounds! Above a 1800 application

EXPLANATORY NOTE

I love, love, love this property of Jehovah's being! The above illustration is actually two illustration: one following the other. To simplify everything, we are looking at the situation from the top - a bird's eye view. What are we looking at? The first pattern: blue separated by a sand colour represents the Israelites crossing the Red Sea. The sand coloured portion, represents them crossing on foot as the sea was damned up, on either side of them as the crossed. That was how Jehovah handled one intractable problem his people faced. They were between a rock and a hard place. Jehovah removed the rock.

The second instance, below it is of the exact opposite type of conundrum: no water, all sand. While trekking through the deserts of Arabia, God's people often found themselves in inhospitable places, where no man dwells. How would they survive? Remember, that it was not just men, woman and children - there was also much livestock. And all needed water - on a daily basis! Here Jehovah made water flow in the desert. Hence the pattern above is of water (in blue) amidst a desert - once again, in the sand colour. Two diametrically opposite problems. Two diametrically diverse solutions. As Job said, there is nothing which Jehovah may have in mind, which is impossible for him. (Job 42:1,2) Jesus also testified to this amazing truth: "Jesus said: 'With men it is impossible but not so with God, for all things are possible with God.'" (Mr 10:27)

Emblazon the above pattern into your psyche, together with the accounts it relates to! Let it always remind you that Jehovah is always able to come to your assistance. You will need to know that in the coming days! Let it strengthen your faith. For our God is a God of Loyal Love! He is continually looking for opportunities to show his strength in behalf of those whose heart is complete toward him. (2Ch 16:9) Never act foolishly.

Having come to understand how The Life fits into the outworking of Jehovah's will: we now take a second look - this time with full understanding - at the 15 functions that cannot happen without Mighty Mount Zion being in place: that is, without the holy ones being gathered into conscious unity by The Life - in preparation for good works!
